two possible minor bugs

My new MEPIS 7 installation has displayed two minor but peculiar behaviors which could be bugs. I am posting them here because my new mepislovers.org account says I don't have permission to post in the bug reports forum.

One is that my DVD-ROM drive ejected for no apparent reason. The disc was at rest while I used the Internet.

The other occurred when I noticed that the clock was both in the wrong time zone and, after I corrected it, still displaying the wrong time. When I manually adjusted the time, the screen flashed black for an instant.

Can not help you with the opening CD...

If your time zone is still incorrect, then right click on the time, left click on adjust time... it will ask you for your root password

In the bottom portion of the interface that opens find your time zone and left click on the time zone and then left click the apply button. Then make certain the check mark is in the set time automatically.
