Logitech C190 webcam in Mepis 8.0.15?

Anyone running the Logitech C190 webcam in Mepis 8.0.15?

I have guvcview the Video capture tool for video4linux2 compliant cameras, with special emphasis on the linux uvc driver.
I have this listed in Synaptic...

Does it work with skype, and google talk?

webcams

If it is listen in synaptic, go ahead and install it. Also use synaptic to find Logitech and the model of your webcam if possible. Type in webcam and do a search on that using available packages.

Install anything that looks like a webcam driver.
