Changing wallpaper from fat32 partition


I´m trying to change wallpaper in KDE from a fat32 partition.When i try to do that,he says that the operation is only possible from local media. Can i correct this? If i can,how do I do it?

Copy the wallpaper file you want to someplace like your home location in a directory called let's say Backgrounds. Converting (gimp or whatever works for you) it (if needed) to jpg or png is a good idea also.

Is that mean that it's not possible to load it from the fat32 partition by configuring it somehow?

Did not say that, you need to mount the fat32 partition to use the image(s) first.

I have the partition mounted. After that,i can copy the desired image to a local folder, and then use it, is that it?

If the partition is mounted you can use the image from it's current location. If the partition is not always mount at startup then it's a good idea to have the image as a local copy.
