Since I have changed sound card,xXaw tv does not record sound.
It used to work, then what is the problem?
Or do I some times need specific driver software for sound card?
I had the same problem. I tried everything but couldn't get it to work. it played fine. It just wouldn't record. it even would play thru the line-in. In the end what I did was to simply move the card to a different pci slot. It would then record. The problem was or at least I think is the motherboard had a IRQ conflict. By switching the slot the IRQ conflict was resolved.
That did not work for me.
I do not know what is IRQ conflict, but I have maual choise for IRQ in bios menu.Numbers
which I can choose .
Now I have that all set to auto.Shoul I manually set IRQ?
Or does changing soundcard may solve the problem?
What is your sound card/Motherboard combo?
Mine is a ECS K7VTA3 and a SoundBlaster live 5.1
it too has the ability to change the IRQS But changing the slot was Still the only thing that worked in my case.
Sb lives are fully supported. So its not a driver issue. You could try this. (it has work for me on occasion)
In MCC change your driver module reboot and change it back - reboot.
The MCC works better in some circumstances
