Webmin and Apache on Mandrake 10.1 community

I have just finished installing Mandrake 10.1 community and i installed apache on it.

however, when i try to get on the apache menu by typing in my browser :
localhost:1000, or 127.2.1.1:1000, it tells me that the connection has been refused.

Is there something i missed somewher, a package that was mot installed, or something ?

Sounds like you haven't set up Apache yet.

The easiest way of doing things is to use webmin

as root

urpmi webmin

urpmi wizards

then

service webmin start
service httpd start

Now open your browser and type in

https://127.0.0.1:10000

and add the acl's from there.

BTW: WEBMIN is on 10000 not 1000

I have also installed PhPMyAdmin and i am supposed to access to the console by entering the following link on my browser :
http://localhost/mysql/

However, the message i have is this :
Not Found

The requested URL /mysql/ was not found on this server.
Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.50 (Mandrakelinux/5mdk) mod_ssl/2.0.50 OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/4.3.8 Server at 127.0.0.1 Port 80

Use Webmin to see if the mod is installed and active under Apache.

Then also use Webmin to configure it and how Apache responds to the query for the /mysql subdirectory.

I have the same problem. Webmin and apache are correctly installed, they are running, and netstat says that their ports are being listened, but I can't connect to them. I don't have iptables nor any firewall. What to do?
