Shutdown command in LILO/Grub

Does anyone knows how to insert a Shutdown or Halt or Reboot command in LILO or Grub? Thanks

I don't think there is a way - or a need.
There is nothing to stop; just hit the power button (or reset button for reboot). Nothing will be lost.

Thanks syg00 and GlennsPref. I though there must be a more elegant way to shut down or reboot through the LILO/Grub menu.
