First I'm new to linux, but am very interested in getting to know how to use it.

I installed Linux Mandrake 10 from CD onto a Dell CPx laptop. Everything went find until it tried to configure the PCMCIA. The card plugged in is a combo Xircom modem/Ethernet card. Unfortunately I don't hve the model number handy at the moment. Anyway, with the card installed it kept askign for an additional drivers floppy. I did a search and couldn't find any place to create or download this floppy.

So, I took the card out and re ran the install and it installed flawlessly...as far as I can tell. Everything seems to be working, I'd just just like to get that network card working.

Does anyone have any links or know right off the top of their head on where I can get this floppy?

I found some stuff for the disk I'm going to try. We'll see if it works.

Using the procedure listed in http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=232447 I burned the network drivers.iso to a floppy.

When the install asks for the 'additiona drivers floppy' would this be what it's looking for?
