nvidia drivers in 2006?

So I've just completed an ftp install and everything is working. Now will the Nvidia drivers install the same or am I in for a surprise?

Hi cabinetcrafter,

There is something on free Nvidia and ATI drivers on the mandriva 2006 errata page, have a look here,

http://qa.mandriva.com/twiki/bin/vie...inux2006Errata

You will find it under this heading, X.org 6.9 issues with free drivers.

IF you run into any problems, and I say IF, because you may not, the link above will probably explain why, and hopefully help you to solve it.

Cheers
