Monitor: Out Of Range

I'm update my monitor to LG Flatron L1752S. When i go into Mandriva 10.1, boots OS, and when loads KDE in monitor i see - Out Of Range 91.1 KHz, 81 Hz.
So i need to change frequency values in etc/X11/xorg.conf , but how to boot in Mandriva without KDE?
Videocard - GeForce 6600 GF 256MB.
Sorry for my ugly English, i'm Latvian.

When you see the lilo a boot splash, hit esc and type "linux 3" or whatever you renamed the installation "whatever 3". This will get you to the command prompt. Login as usual, su to root, and type "MCC." You will then be presented with a quasi visual environment from which you can reconfigure the card. Are you using the Nvidia proprietary driver? Also, an LCD usually operates at a specific setting. Be sure to check that out.

grub can go to the command prompt, by-passing X as well. I think there is a menu option, or perhaps simply typing "c" at the grub splash. I have used grub, but am more familiar with lilo. Both do the job.
