I am probably going to update my 'modern' PC with a new motherboard and maybe CPU. I have had problems, ie crashes, under 8.1 AND win98SE with the existing mobo since I got it. Everything bar the cpu and mobo have been swapped so I am left to conclude it is either mobo or cpu. Anyhow, one of the 2 people from whom I may buy the components has suggested the above board. I havent asked the 2nd person yet for their suggestions.

Does anyone have one of the mandrake OS's running on a Gigabyte GA7N400 pro 2 motherboard?

If so, which Mandrake and did you have any problems? Could you also list your CPU and graphics card?
My linux isnt used for gaming, surfing will be via a USB broadband modem once I have figured out how to set it up.
