Is the Mandrake 10 + Win XP partioning problem fixed in the latest downloads?

Was there any problem with partitioning in Mandrake 10? Or do you mean the problem with the possibility of boot failure after installing Mandrake 10 on a system with Windows? I'm not an expert here but someone on this forum said the problem was not with partitioning but with the GRUB bootloader provided with Mandrake 10 and if you don't use GRUB but LILO (you will be able to choose this somewhere in the installation process) then everything should work fine. I was also worried about the bug in Mandrake 10, so I did these things to install Mandrake 10 along Windows 2003:
1. I used the Mdk 9.2 installer CD to create the Linux partition on my Windows partition (later I learned from this foum I needn't have done this, because Mdk10 is not buggy at this step either - I hope I'm right but I'm not an expert on this). I chose the automatic partitioning on the Windows partition and as a result Mdk 9.2 created 2 Linux ext3 partitions.
2. I stopped the installation process after partitioning and started again using Mdk 10 CD this time. With the Mdk 10 installer I deleted the 2 ext3 partitions (I wanted just 1), created 1 instead and went on with the installation. Later on I made sure LILO was chosen as the bootloader (it was chosen by deafault as far as I remember) and everything went fine. Windows was untouched and after booting the compurer I have the option to choose the system.
