Mandrake 10 installation problem after booting from cd1

Hello.

I have problem, when booting up Mandrake 10 installation from cd1. It boots up the installer and when I get message "Accessing the cdrom-drive..." it just jams there and after little waiting I get this message: " kernel bug @ drivers/ide/ide-iops.c:line1005 0 Kernel Panic Fatal Exception in Interupt
Interupt Handler not syncing." I have also tried to boot from cd2, but with same result. I don't have this problem with older Mandrake distributions. Anyone knows, what might help with this?

Try turning apic off in your bios, this seems to be a big problem since RC1.

If that was not it, there was a problem I saw on the bug list about scsi cd roms being attached, I thnink even if you are using your ide one. There was a workaround, but I cannot remember. Search at qa.mandrakesoft.com if it is not apic.
