hey all.. when I installed mandrake last nite, I had my external harddrive with an NTFS partition on it.. I formatted all of my internals to EXT3, but left my external as it had all the stuff I wanted to keep on it.. when mandrake saw it, it detected it as a SCSI, which is fine with me, but detected the partitions as VFAT, and would not mount the drive. fine and dandy, we did some stuff in terminal and mounted it to /mnt/external as a NTFS partition, and all was good.
the problem is, I have 2 icons on my desktop I cant seem to get rid of.. they are for drives "/mnt/win_c2", and "/mnt/removable".. none of these icons can access any drive, so to me, they serve no purpose, and shouldnt be on my desktop..
what is the best way to get rid of these? I tried restarting, in hopes that kaduzu would detect the drive wasnt present and get rid of them, but that didnt work..
anyway..
thanx for the help
Nate
