Unhappy Local Host errors

when i use the KDE desktop i get the following error msg when it boots the desktop, Only happens with KDE, Gnome is ok.
KDE 3.2
Local Host Kernel
Disabling IRQ 10.
This then means my Lan connection is disabled.
Any ideas as what the matter may be?

What parameters are being passed to the kernel at boot?

dont know what parameters are been sent on boot up. is there a way to check or log them?

To check what is being passed

cat /etc/lilo.conf | more

or less

cat /etc/lilo.conf | less
