Installing 10.1 Video Issues

Hey what's up...

I just downloaded Mandrake Linux 10.1, and wanted to install it... but as soon as it boots, and goes into the initial screen, the video is all screwed up... There are lines everywhere, and i am unable to see anything properly...

I'm running a retail box ATI Radeon 9600SE... I've had 10.0 running on my box before, so I figured 10.1 wouldn't be a problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to?

If you can, try using another video card (preferrably an older 2D card). Or you can press <F1> at boot and use the text install.
Once you've got everything up and running you can use XFdrake to set up X for your card.

I have no experience with Radeon so I can't give any better answers.
