Angry audio, video, and input issues

Well first off... im putting this all in the same thread so i dont clutter up the forum... Im running Slackware 9 with kernel 2.4.20... Ive got 3 problems... My audigy card isnt working... i cant seem to get my radeon 9800 pro to work... and the scrollwheel on my kensington studiomouse wireless USB doesnt work either.

On the sound problem: if i type 'lsmod check' it returns

the emu10k1 driver is loaded but it doesnt work.

On the video issue, i downloaded fglrx-glc22-4.3.0-3.2.5.i586.rpm from ati's website under the Radeon 9800 pro submenu and ran the command rpm -ihv --nodeps fglrx*.rpm. It installed fine (as far as i can tell) so i type fglrxconfig and go thru that stuff. Then i restart X and it tells me "no screens found"... and Radeon 9800 Pro is not in the list of drivers. WHY!? (sorry)

On the scrollwheel thinger, i have no idea why...

Well, as far as the mouse and video issues go, I have no idea. But for the sound issues, here goes. Support for the Audigy card has only recently been added to the emu10k1 module. On my machine it didn't work with the 2.4.20 kernel, it did with the 2.4.21, and now with the 2.4.22 it is again not working. So I've installed alsa ( www.alsa-project.org ) and it works great. You'll have to download alsa-lib and alsa-driver. Configure alsa-driver with --with-cards=emu10k1 and compile it. Compile alsa-lib and do "modprobe snd-emu10k1" At this point you should have sound. After loading the snd-emu10k1 module all output channels will be muted, so be sure to turn them up before testing. A full how-to on this is available here . Good luck!

And for the mouse, you would have found out yourself if you searched the forums.....
Add: Option "ZaxisMapping" "4 5"
into the input (mouse) section of your XF86Config files, then restart X and voila!
