fvwm-> mandrake setting my bg color?

Hi,

I have a happily running 9.2 but I wanted to switch to fvwm. I did it and can run from startx BUT somewhere my fvwm background is being set to blue, and it's not in my .xinitrc! Where? I tried modifiying where Mandreke was setting a background color in Xsession but no dice.

On the same subject, how can I boot straight into fvwm? Now I set my inittab to default to run level 3 and them I manually execute startx. There's gotta be a better way...

thanks

Peff

man init

your init level 4 should execute scripts in the /etc directory /etc/rc.d or somewhere around there its in the init manpage..

the how to or the docs in /usr/doc should tell you how to change the xsetroot otherwise you may have xwmconfig never used it so man xwmconfig.. if the manuals don't help, post again...

Read some man pages and seems xsetroot was the culprit...

Thanks for the guidance!
