cups error

I've got Mandrake 10.1 on one computer and the printer is working fine but when I try to start cups I get child exited with status 98. It wouldn't be such a big deal except I'm networked with my computer which uses gentoo and I share the printer.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Use 'mcc' to configure your printer and look in /var/log/messages for errors.

Also check for ypserv according to this https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla....cgi?id=113586
