Just installed Mandrake 10.1 on my laptop via external USB 2.0 harddrive. Everything installed fine, but when I try to log into user I get an error saying something like 'You don't have access to write to $/home' or something along those lines. How can i fix it so I can log into mandrake using any 'user' login?
Btw, in case anyone is wondering, Mandrake 10.1 is installed on a custom built external usb2.0 hd using a Bytecc case and a 200GB 8MB Cache Western Digital HD (partitioned) that i bought off newegg.
Last question, does anyone have any experience adding a FreeBSD entry into LILO?
