Cannot install kernel-source... please help

I am trying to setup my Mandrake 10.0 system to use the nVidia graphics driver for my GeForce4 Ti4800 vid card. I was following the instructions listed here at the mandrake boards ("Major Headaches with Mandrake 9.0 and Nvidia Card" is the name of the thread... it's the second post in the thread... I'd link it but I'm not allowed to post a URL yet since this is my first post and I need to have at least 5 before I can post links) but when I tried the urpmi command to install the kernel-source rpm package I recieved the following output...

Code:
[root@localhost drake]# urpmi kernel-source-2.6.3-7mdk
unable to take medium "International CD (x86) (cdrom3)" into account as no list file
 [/var/lib/urpmi/list.International CD (x86) (cdrom3)] exists
Please insert the medium named "Installation CD 3 (x86) " on device [/dev/hdc]
Press Enter when ready...
Now I know that I have the "International CD (x86) (cdrom3)" as my third installation CD because I've used it for initial installation as well as subsequent rpm package installations, so I was surprised to see that it asked for something else (namely "Installation CD 3 (x86)" as above). But I tried using my International CD hoping that it would recognize that it was the CD that is needed... instead, it simply ejectes the CD and repeats the following...

Code:
Please insert the medium named "Installation CD 3 (x86) " on device [/dev/hdc]
Press Enter when ready...
So essentially, it is refusing to install the kernel-source on the basis of the fact that it believes I don't have the right CD. I've tried using rpmdrake's graphical rpm installation interface as well and I have the exact same problem, which has never happened before. So what can I do to fix this? Would it work for me to create a copy of my International CD and give it the label "Installation CD 3 (x86) " and use that? Any insight, ideas, advice, etc. would be appreciated. In the meantime, since I don't actually need hardware excelleration for anything except my screensaver at the moment, I'm not going to fret about it much.

Thanks in advance for any help offered
Kaiyousei

[EDIT] I just checked the directory list for /var/lib/urpmi and got the following:

Code:
compssUsers.flat
hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 1\ (x86)\ (cdrom1).cz
hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 2\ (x86)\ (cdrom2).cz
hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 3\ (x86)\ (cdrom3).cz
hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 4\ (x86)\ (cdrom4).cz
hdlist.International\ CD\ (x86)\ (cdrom3).cz
names.Installation\ CD\ 1\ (x86)\ (cdrom1)
names.Installation\ CD\ 2\ (x86)\ (cdrom2)
names.International\ CD\ (x86)\ (cdrom3)
synthesis.hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 1\ (x86)\ (cdrom1).cz
synthesis.hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 2\ (x86)\ (cdrom2).cz
synthesis.hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 3\ (x86)\ (cdrom3).cz
synthesis.hdlist.Installation\ CD\ 4\ (x86)\ (cdrom4).cz
synthesis.hdlist.International\ CD\ (x86)\ (cdrom3).cz
Is it normal for there to not be a "list.International CD (x86) (cdrom3)" file listed there?

just download this

http://rpmseek.com/download/ftp://ft...hl=com&nid=602

then install it with

rpm -ivh path_to_rpm.rpm

EDIT: or try to look on the cds for a file called kernel-source-2.6.3-7mdk.i586.rpm

You can generate your own:
Code:
/var/lib/urpmi/synthesis.hdlist.*
Contains synthesis information about all known packages built from
hdlist files that can be used by minimal closure algorithm. If these
files are not present use urpmi.update -a to generate them.
