10.1 install kernel and kernel-source different - build fails
I'm trying to build the NVidia drivers for my GeForce 6800. It fails to build and I believe it's a problem with the kernel-source. I'm currently running the stock kernel that came with 10.1 Official (184.108.40.206-12mdk; from uname -r), but when I did am RPM install of the kernel-source, I got 220.127.116.11-24mdk (which is sitting in /usr/src and I point the NVidia installer at this). I wouldn't think there was much of a difference, but apparently the NVidia drivers do.
Does anyone know how I can correct this? Either by getting the 18.104.22.168-12mdk kernel-source or another method? Thanks in advance,
