Can not Configure mandriva sharing through KDE Control Module

Hi,
i am having trouble configuring the file sharing. When i go into the file sharing configuration wizard i am first asked for the root password and then when the KDE control module apears it is all grayed out and all the options are locked and all i can do is click the OK, Cancel or Help buttons.
Any ideas what is going on??

Have you got the samba / smb packages installed?

yes i have it installed i can access the shares fine aswell

aaahh sorry figured it out the samba server package was not installed. But now i have another problem when i share the folder i get the following error :
