Anyone knows where to download kernel 2.6.18 rpm?

Greetings! I noticed that Mandriva 2007 comes with kernel 2.6.17 something but I want 2.6.18 (so I can put the latest ivtv module and get my tv card working).

I'm a newbie and mandriva's kernels are "special" (building from source would require to build it along with mandriva modules I think I dont know how to do that) so I can only do that if I'm provided with the rpm.

not at the momemt....give it time....join the mailing list so you know when they update due to some vulnerability.

2) I am aware you lack confidence....but once you have a sucessful vanilla kernel working (with or without modules and intrd.img) you become freer as is free beer heh heh. the commands for patching a vanilla kernel are 2 small lines after each update and you only download the patch which may only be a few kB and not Mb
