2006, taskbar not showing up applications.

Mandriva powerpack 2006 the KDE taskbar is not showing up running application. For example, if I open firefox and minimize it, it just desapear. I must open again if I want to use it. If I open firefox more than one time, the taskbar does not show that, the same happens with any ohter application, terminal window, etc. Any idea out there? I know only a few have access right now to the lates Mandriva 2006. I have never seen this problem before.

Right click on task bar and you will find how to add what you need.

Thanks for the reply, I figured that out, but still I think KDE is broke. Icons are not rezised properly, so I switched to Gnome.

Just move or delete your .kde directory in your home directory and try KDE again. Most likely you have the config from the KDE on 10.0 still there and the newer KDE is conflicting with it.
