If you keep hitting Ctrl_+, the side panel(s) get pushed out, in favour of the content. After all, that's why we're here.

I already have it on 133% zoom to make the fonts big enough to read. I use ublock-origins cosmetic filtering options to hide the right-hand sidebar to give the actual posts text a little more room.
