Thread dates


Just as there is a date/time stamp on the last posting to a thread, it might be helpful to have one on the thread creation. Might help avoid posting on old threads. Of course you can always open the thread to see the first post, and you can't have ALL the information on the overview.

I don't think that information is typically relevant enough when you're on the forum display screen to warrant an additional SQL lookup along with the added clutter that displaying it would involve. I'm open to dissenting opinions here however. Thanks for the feedback.

Actually, I've often wondered why it wasn't there already, and I don't see where it would add 'clutter' if it were placed next to the OP's name in the Thread / Thread Starter column, which IMHO, would be the appropriate place.
