I think this sums it up for me. Seems like a solution in search of a problem.
But then I never really understood the purpose of post-counts either.

If someone answers my question, I could really care less about who they are, how long they've been here, or how long they've used linux. Plus the fact, so what if someone gave great advice about configuring KDE. Doesn't mean they have a clue about LAMP or BASH scripting.

Anyway, if you've done some research about your problem prior to posting, you should know enough to be able to tell when someone is leading you in the wrong direction.
