missing thread

This is going to sound pretty stupid.
I was in a thread I started talking to sonichedgehog about refresh rate. I have gone back to it several times. Now I can't find a sign of it. It was in "general forum." I have looked through search in several ways but still nada. How can I find it again? We were getting closer to a solution. I wold like to find all of that thread so I can review it to make sure I got it right and try further things.

You should be able to see it in your Subscribed Threads list, by going here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...bscription.php provided you either posted to the thread, or have added it to your subscriptions.

Alternately, you can search for threads by <username> if <username> started the thread, OR search for posts by greenknight, using the search function: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/search.php and enter the username into the <username> text area.

Sasha

PS - looks like it's here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=778883 (found it by clicking your username in the left pane, and selecting "Find more posts by.." from the dropdown menu )

Yes, my first action if I want to refer back to something I was involved in is at the top of the page "quick links", within that tab "subscribed threads". I think a moderator has amalgamated your 2 threads. I'll continue with http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...883/page3.html which is where we were before.

@ sonic* -- I wonder if the OP can find THIS thread now.. I guessed he/she would have posted something to the other thread if they had found it, but I see no recent posts, though they are online. And they haven't listed an email address of I'd drop them a note......

EDIT -- Ok, I see them at that thread.
