I dunno about others but i vote for disable this thing. If someone chooses and even confirms to log out they need to stay logged out! Remember me option is for keeping you in.
I don't get it. If you don't want to be logged in automatically, why do you enable that feature in the first place?
And why do you think just because you don't want to use it it should be made impossible for the 500.000 other members to use it?
@TobiSGD: I am not speaking about "Remember me" option which is tickable upon providing username|login and password but this thing that simply works and you have to log out twice everytime to get out completely > http://i57.tinypic.com/4s1s09.jpg < Sometimes even more.

That rather seems to be a bug. I just logged out and I stayed logged out at the first attempt, so that does not seem to apply to all members.
Please provide a bit more information, at least which browser in which version you use and if that happens every time (and if not, can you force the problem to appear).
