Invited to post - with the attraction of that subscription - I explored (or tried) and found popups prompting further logins to [whatever - see subject line] with the message that it would be up soon. In one of the news areas, I found the below. I know sites can require a lot, so I'm sending the below as reminder of the information the casual visitor is exposed to on the subject(s):

A quick update. The LQ Podcast will be returning in the very near future. Thanks for the patience.

I guess the "very near future" part is out, then. I'd love an LQ podcast, too. There are lots of Linux podcasts, but very few good ones. The level of immaturity heard in many of them is remarkable, especially for a group of people generally considered intelligent.
No probs jeremy. I still think this is a great site. As I'm sure you know, outdated "very near future" messages are as bad as outdated "under development" messages. On my sites, if simply removing them brings feedback, that sometimes brings the effort needed to get them back in the refashioned form desired. Just my two cents.
We do hope to bring the podcasts back, but unfortunately have no ETA at this time.
Any updates? If not. Can anyone recommend any other Linux related podcasts? Ive searched itunes but there are a ton to choose from and not sure which ones are good. Would prefer to have podcasts focusing on servers and maybe one focusing on home use.

We're actually working on some ideas internally that could bring this back in the near future. Nothing official yet and it's not definite, but I'll announce more if we're able to make progress.
