What is 'FM digital radio, not DAB' and radio card setup?
Anyone kno what:
'digital FM radio reception (not DAB type)'
means?
Is there such a thing in the UK?
Because I'm trying to get said radio on a:
PEAK 138508AGPK
DVB-T Digital TV Hybrid PCI Card:
Quote:
The low-profile design can easily fit into barebones or miniPC cases, and the additional AV/S-Video input can receive the signals from the connecting DVD Player / VCD / VHS / Camcorder etc. The product comes with powerful software that allows PEAK DVB-T Digital TV Hybrid PCI Card to feature applications such as Quick Setup, Channel Auto Scan, Teletext, digital FM radio reception (not DAB type) and Electronic Program Guide (EPG) etc. These features make digital TV programs immediately accessible to anyone, anywhere!
Well, you could have "a digital FM radio" (the PLL for the tuner and hence the reception frequency is set digitally, but its just a digiatl tuner listening in to analogue FM radio), but that's not the same as "Digital FM Radio".
Great thanks salasi. Have got something out of it: GQradio; scan; then presets of about six stations. Very poor reception, except, God help us, Clasic FM.
