HCL Desktop systems (suggested new category)

I thought I might put some remarks on the HCL about the HP desktop computer I bought a few weeks ago, but I see there's no appropriate category. There's a category for laptops, but none for desktops. Seems odd. Probably lots of us do buy desktop computers.

This should be in the LQ Suggestions and Feedback forum, since it has nothing do with Linux. There is a reason for not having desktops in the HCL, though I can't remember what it is right now! It might be because you can quite easily change the hardware in a desktop, so it's better to post the individual items (whereas with a laptop this is more difficult).

search around, this has been brought up before- the answer is that it makes more sense to have individual components for desktops listed, as we're all geeky (hehehe...

) and build our own computers... Of course with laptops you have to buy them "as is"

(yeah yeah you can buy a desktop "as is" but you can swap out components fairly easily...)
