External storage devices category under the HCL

Hi all

I was just going through the HCL to enter my SanDisk flash drive. So I find that SanDisk is named as Sandisk.(the d should be D)

Also the first entry under it, Cruiser Mini 256 is spelled wrong. It should be cruzer mini.

Just found out and so I thought that something needs to be done about this. Also, maybe I missed it, but is there some section for routers.

The SanDisk entry has been updated. Due to the way a router connects to a computer (via a network) the HCL would not apply to it.

Thats an interesting point jeremy but is it not fair to say that although the routers may all be 100% compatible there are some which would be given better reviews than others?

I guess my point would be that it could still assist Linux users in buying the best product as reviewed by other users. It isn't necessarily the reason the HCL exists but using it as a purchasing guide is an extension of it's purpose.

FWIW I did actually see an ISDN router once where the web interface used javascript that would only work in IE.

Thanks for updating the SanDisk entry jeremy. Regarding the routers, I agree with david_ross. It would be a big help for users to be able to use the HCL as a guide.

Plus, if you can have network cards, I'd think that routers is the next step. I believe that they would suit the HCL just fine.
