Installed Kubuntu - WOW

WOW! I have to say that this distro for me has been the best linux experience I've had. I've installed many over the years trying to get a handle on what linux and its benefits.. But i've had many road blocks that stopped me from learning.

I was searching for the "Best" distro that I can use to get up and running. Ubuntu seemed to have come out in the lead. So went to their website and noticed that they released several other flavours.

Kubuntu stuck out at me because of the KDE desktop. I've heard good things regarding the new "look and feel". Anyway, I went ahead and installed it. Let me tell you, that if you're looking for something to get you started, I would try it. For me, I'm already in love with it! As for installing other apps, using apt-get - for me makes the software installation side of things a sinch (btw, I know apt-get is available on other distros)

Anyway, my success story is that i think I found something i like, and wanted to share with everyone, and those who are new at this.

Thanks.
