Wonder we could get Mr. Martin to endorse this oath for the freeware movement...

I just finished installing version 4 of the NoobsLab 'MacBuntu' pack, and it suddenly occurred to me that the Linux community elite are, in a way, like the Night Watch hehehe

So I decided to tweak the Night's Watch oath, so that it reads as follows:

"Greed gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall purchase no Apple device, hold no Microsoft license, serve no ad-supported master. I shall wear no titles and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the keyboard in the darkness. I am the watcher on the web. I am the shield that guards the files of free men. I pledge my knowledge and honor to the Free Software Movement, for this weekend and all weekends to come."

I just found my having officially decided to defend and help develop freeware worthy of celebrating

Happy coding everyone!

R.
