Question New to linux. sabayon or gentoo? distro locations?

FIRST POST!

Finally made it. Got interested with linux through both my droid 2, and WUBI (if only it were always that easy!).

So many great options out there. I was doing to some research and boiled it down to sabayon and gentoo. I've read that they are similar. After youtubing it, I think I'm set on sabayon. BUT, I don't know where to start. I visited the sabayon site and was only able to locate a bizzilion different sized iso's. Not sure which one to install (x86, AMD64... spinbase...) or if I should do a live dvd that'll do the installing for me (and where to find that iso download/dvd).

I am putting whatever it is, on my dell precision M70. I have about 25GB to work with.

Help!
