Howdy

Greetings all.
I am currently working in Afghanistan as part of the Department of State's International Narcotics and Law Enforcement project.

I have been casually using Linux on and off since 2000, starting with E-Smith (now SME Server)then Red Hat 7.2, Red Hat 9 and Fedora Core. Most recently, Kubuntu and some of the live distros have caught my attention through my coworkers.

I picked up a used Gateway 1.6ghz P4 laptop as a beater machine, and plan on experimenting more in the coming year to learn Linux better.

Thanks
Dyrewulf
