Hello from Champion, PA
Hello everyone!
We have been running openSuSe for about a year on two nearly identical HP DV9000 series laptops (turion 64x4 TL-60, nvidia graphics).
We are thankful every day since we escaped the evil empire and would never go back!
We run your average set of apps: OOO, Gimp, evolution with no problems, and have experience with a few less common things:
We are DJ's (mainly weddings and line dancing) and run mediamonkey under wine, until the linux native version is made available.
We use kaffeine to watch over the air atsc tv on an hvr-1500 card.
We use OBD-II diagnostic software to work on vehicles.
Our goal is to share our experiences with these in hopes of helping others.
