[Mandatory Introduction Thread]

Hi! In case you haven't noticed, yes, I am new to this thing called Linux. But I have been reading about it for some time and have thought it was the ultimate thing since I started. A stable, fast, powerful, open-source OS that works better than commercial competitors? For FREE???

Anyway, I've finally gotten my hands on Ubuntu, and after a certain amount of blood, sweat, tears and misunderstanding, its up and running. Glad to be here, and that's my intro.

Man this rocks!!

After the blood, sweat, tears and abuse isn't it a great feeling of accomplishment. That is part of the addiction.
