Hi,
I've bought this nice card thinking that it had the Atmel driver (like actually Google says), but accasionally it turned to have the RealTek's newer 8180L chipset... They do have a couple of driver versions for Linux 2.4.x kernels, but they don't seem to be working good on my system, being identified as Debian Sid (unstable) w/ GCC 3.0 as the default compiler and w/ 2.4.21-ck3 custom-compiled kernel which otherwise works perfectly for me (I'm also using a 3COM 656B PCMCIA card successfully)...
More specifically, following a Link-sys WPC11 Mini-HOWTO on Linux.org I've got the driver loading and even connecting to an access point, but trying to ping or otherwise send any kind of a packet to the network end with a kernel
panic...
Obviously, this close-source driver sucks... But still, I need to make it work, because I don't want to buy a new card...
Any help is appreciated...
