Question WPA_Supplicant

I'm having multiple problems with WPA_Supplicant.

First and worst problem:
When I run the supplicant it works fine for a couple of minutes. Suddenly it looses the connection to my WAP. I dont have the configuration file right now, but I will shortly post it here.

Second:
I have to manually run the WPA_supplicant after logging on. I want to run it automatically at runlevel 5 (or when should I run it?).
How do I do that. I need a noob description here. Please.

Thanks a lot for any help.
