Wireless USB Pings Network But Wont Browse Internet
I have a USB Network connection using atmel at76c503 and SuSE 9.2. The wireless network can find the router and get an ip address and also ping my router and print server, and log onto the routers web management but when i try to browse the internet i get an 'unknown host' error.
The DNS and gateway are set up properly as my wired connection works and they both use the same configuration.
In dmesg i get: (when i plug the USB network in)
usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using address 5

in iwconfig i get:

the IP is from DHCP from the router and the wireless and logged in the DHCP client list of the routers web server
I have tried the atmel drivers that are supplied with SuSE 9.2 and also the berlios drivers which produce the same results. i have also tried it with WEP on and off.
Update: In a last ditch to get it to work, i removed the wired connection from the configured network device list which has now let the wireless browse the internet. I didn't think this would have caused a problem as i could switch between the two network connections to browse the internet in Windows, is there a way to do this on linux?
