Wireless Card Problems

I have an Intel pro wireless 1200 card installed in my computer. My computer is dual bootable and the card will not work with neither Windows XP or RHEL 4. However, before I installed RHEL the card worked fine. Does any know if installing RHEL could have caused troubles or it it just a coincidence that my card stopped working at the same time I installed RHEL?

Is there any chance that the card got turned off? If your computer is a laptop, then there is usually a key combination that cuts off power to the card and sometimes it gets turned off by accident.
