SIOCSIFADDR: No buffer space available


hello every one i am implementing a mobile ipv6 protocol
and while adding a ipv6 address wireless interface by issuing the command ("/sbin/ip -6 addr add fec0:106:2700::1/64 dev wlan0")
i encounter the error ("RTNETLINK answers: No buffer space available")
and if i issue("/sbin/ifconfig -6 addr add fec0:106:2700::1/64 dev wlan0")
i encounter the error("SIOCSIFADDR: No buffer space available")
but no problem is encounter while adding a pv6 address to my ethernet
card.
can anyone help why it is happening

(i have also added a same disscussion with different subject but as their is no reply for that so i feel may be the subject is not explitic. if it hurts someone in someway i beg your apologies)

This post appears in the top of Google search list for this problem and I have just encountered it on my machine.
As advised in a comment on Linode,
