nmap no buffer space

Anyone know how to fix this? anything larger than
(ex. nmap -sP 10.1.1-5.1- ) outputs this information.

sendto in send_ip_raw: sendto(4, packet, 28, 0, xx.xx.xx.xx/24, 16) => No buffer space available Sleeping 60 seconds then retrying
