Couldn't still setup my windows laptop to access net through linux(fc9) laptop's internet connection (ethernet to externet n/w).
But I found this link useful
(atleast it describes what I want to achieve
.
http://www.fs-security.com/docs/connection-sharing.php
Currently I am facing a strange problem.
- If I connect my windows desktop directly (ethernet) to externel n/w (internet), it happily gets an ip, gateway, dns etc through dhcp and works fine.
_ When I try to connect my linux deskop to the same externel n/w, it gets a complete different set of ip, subnet-mask, gateway, dns etc. and I am also not able to access internet. I am literally lost for any logical reason, but still trying
.
Will give another try in the evening?
Meanwhile, any suggestion, pointers are most welcome.
