using a debian Sarge and a 3Com 3CRDAG675 (Atheros chip) wireless PCI adapter. It works with MadWiFi drivers

I have a Linksys WUSB54Gv1, which works in both a Celeron D 2.93GHz-based computer, and a Pentium II 300MHz computer. Both were running "Damn Small Linux Not!", using ndiswrapper and the latest WinXP driver from Linksys website. Linksys WUSB54Gv1 is USB and has a Prism chipset.

I also have a Netgear WG511T, which is a PCMCIA card. I have it working on a Compaq Armada 1571dm laptop, which has a Pentium MMX 200Mhz cpu. The card says 300Mhz cpu minimum, but it works fine on this laptop, in both Win98 and Damn Small Linux. (The original Damn Small Linux). The card has an atheros chipset. It is detected automatically at startup, I just have to type "iwconfig ath0 essid NETGEAR", and it is ready to surf. NETGEAR is my neighbor's SSID.

I haven't tried encryption with either of these cards yet.

OK I'll bite, Just bought Belkin F5D7011 on impulse having plugged it into Latitude CPi running Ubuntu Dapper flight7 and the card was recognised but not functional.
Installed Dapper.rc and then used help from here which got the card working, hurrah but have to run
to get it working, the same commands work after reboot, I will work out how to get a script up so that it works from boot but hey it's working

While I'm happy to see the successful installations, it would be better if these were entered in the LQ Hardware Compatability List rather than stretching this thread along for years to come.
