First of all you don't actually mount wireless devices. These are configured using the regular network tool "ifconfig" and the wireless tool "iwconfig"
However, a wireless card isn't going to work unless you have drivers for it. Chances are good that you don't, and for that matter I have yet to find a real driver for the WG111. See this post:

Unfortunately, this card just doesn't look to be well-supported in linux yet. I reccomend getting a card with a prism2 or prism54 chipset, these usually work very well...and both have drivers in the kernel.
