Need help configuring an old linux box with wireless interface connect to network

For your quick reference I am including network set up of the linux machines below:

Since I cannot post url, I will try to explain set up of my network:
I have 2 linux machines 10.0.0.6 and 10.0.0.7 connected to 10.0.0.0 ethernet through hub. There is also an access point 10.0.0.1 connected to this subnet.
10.0.0.7 has another ethernet internet with IP 10.0.1.1.

I have another linux machine 10.0.1.5 which I want to make part of 10.0.1.0 subnet.
The subnet 10.0.0.0 works fine as far as routing of packets is concerned. I can ping from 10.0.0.6 to 10.0.0.7, 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.1.1. Ping from 10.0.0.7 works fine too.

I am interested in configuring 10.0.1.5 so that I can route packets from that machine to 10.0.0.0 network. I cannot ping from 10.0.1.5 to any of the other machines on the network.

My another problem which I am not clear about is this: 10.0.1.1 is an Ethernet interface and is not connected to a hub and 10.0.1.5 is a wireless interface, I am not sure how exactly are these computers belong to the same subnet .... don't we need to add a hub or something maybe also an access point so that they tie up with eachother and with other computers on the network???

Please help

Can you ping the access point from wireless system? this confirms that you have a working wireless connection.

If yes, have you set AP as gateway for wireless system?

I suspect that you need a wireless router to forward packets to next subnet, this may be beyond the scope of an access point. I use a router so I do not have this issue.

Hi I cannot ping access point from the wireless machine. If that would have been the case, I just had to update my routing table and make access point to be my default router.

Pleaseeee help me out ..... I was reading some info about bridging 2 subnets but that wouldnt work either.

Seeking help ...
