Configuring Network Interface Card (Ethernet) in SUSE 9.1

I am using my computer inside university, SUSE 9.1 Installed, it is dual boot. I can access Internet through my Windows XP. But I could not configure IP for NIC in SUSE 9.1. It has detected my NIC (Ethernet Card). I used YaST for it. I can successfully assign the IP address, Subnet-mask and default gateway, but I don't know how to and where to assign name-server IP, I think it is needed, because in Windows XP I configured it, all those and even I have Knoppix live CD, It ask all this address to configure (with nice wizard) and all work fine under Knoppix.

Please help me how to configure NIC in SUSE 9.1??

Thanks

So you would like add/setup name server for your NIC?

Open YaST -> Network Devices -> Network Card

In 'Already configured devices' you should find your NIC, click 'Change'
highlight the card to configure and click 'Edit'
in 'Detailed settings', select 'Host name and name server'
now add your nameserver IP's to the list.

Done !
